Our Work: Generating Livelihoods Through Millet Processing

We focus on creating livelihood opportunities for women through the millet processing value chain. Women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) play a central role in the production, packaging, and distribution of millet-based products, such as nutritious biscuits and nutrition bars.

Here’s how we create livelihood opportunities for women:

• Training & Skill Development: We provide women with hands-on training in millet processing, product development, and quality control. This training equips them with marketable skills that can be used to generate income sustainably.

• Micro-Enterprises: We help set up women-led micro-enterprises in rural areas, where women manage the production lines, packaging, and distribution of products. These enterprises provide regular, stable income to women and their families, fostering a sense of ownership and financial independence.

• Financial Empowerment: By offering access to credit, financial literacy programs, and market linkages, we ensure that women have the tools they need to grow their businesses and create long-term economic stability.
